At Cranford Ironstone Co., we take pride in offering an expert dry stone walling services through our sister company: The Ammonite Walling Co. Specialising in traditional techniques, we also offer bespoke dry stone art installations and dry stone effect walls. With a focus on craftsmanship and creativity, we transform landscapes and buildings across Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, and the surrounding East Midlands area.

Our dry stone walling service honours the traditional craft that has endured for centuries. We select natural stone carefully for its size, texture, and character to create strong, visually striking walls with no mortar, allowing the stones to naturally interlock for stability. Whether you need to restore a historic boundary, enhance your garden, or build a new wall feature, our team brings expertise to ensure each wall is not only durable but also a beautiful addition to your landscape.
In addition to our traditional dry stone walling service, The Ammonite Walling Company creates bespoke dry stone art installations. These installations offer a unique opportunity to bring creativity and craftsmanship together to transform outdoor spaces. From sculptural features to intricate designs, we work closely with our clients to craft one-of-a-kind pieces that enhance gardens, parks, and public spaces. If you’re looking for a statement feature, we provide custom-made installations that stand out while blending seamlessly into their surroundings.
For those who want the aesthetic of traditional dry stone walling but with modern construction methods, we offer dry stone effect walls. These walls mimic the natural look of dry stone but are built using modern materials and techniques. Dry stone effect walls offer all the beauty of traditional stonework, with enhanced strength and flexibility, making them a popular choice for contemporary builds and landscaping projects.
